It's recommends 2-5.Īnd yes, 4 are supposed to be known, it's a literal rule in the rule book lol.

It's literally not recommended on it's own box to not be played solo lol. 5 are known, but since its semi cooperative, you cannot expect all player to (truthfully) share their contingencies with you, so you still need to figure them out yourself, so not much difference in that regard, apart from the 2p mode, which indeed is peculiar 🤷♂️ And even in 5p games you only know 1 contingency. Its hard, i give you that, but not impossible. Originally posted by Thomy013:The boardgame is most certainly Also suitable for 1p singlehanded. The boardgame is most certainly Also suitable for 1p singlehanded. In this version only 2 are known when playing solo and only 2 are known when playing with 2 players (1 per player) which is a balancing problem as expecting one player to learn 4 contingencies or even 2 players to learn 4 is a bit much when you compare that only 2 need to be figured out when playing with 4 players and only 1 needs to be figured out when playing with 5 players lol. (It doesn't state 4 should be known when playing solo because the game isn't meant to be played solo) When playing the Lockdown Board game you're supposed to have 4 contingencies known from the start when playing with 2 or less players, 2 per player. With Lockdown, Contingencies really become an issue and far as I know they haven't fixed it in this version.
